Leith (Edinburgh) - Ro-Ro

ro-ro-leith.jpg

Leith offers excellent facilities for ships carrying rolling freight or heavy indivisible trailer-loads because its impounded dock system eliminates the need for linkspan connections. Within the dock complex, there are two car freight compounds – South Side Imperial with space for 1200 cars or 250 trucks, and Western Harbour with spaces for 1500 cars or 300 trucks.
