The Port of Dundee is strategically placed to serve the North Sea Oil and Gas industry. With its deep-water berths and extensive landside project areas, the port regularly accommodates significant fabrication and refit projects destined for North Sea and Norwegian Sector operations. Vessels also utilise the port as a key mobilisation/demobilisation facility, taking advantage of its proximity to national and international airports and trunk routes.
Bedrock is within close proximity to the seabed surface and as such can accommodate jackup rigs and jackup installation vessels. Two jackup rigs can be accommodated at Prince Charles Wharf simultaneously, with additional berths to the west of the port at Eastern Wharf.
Short-term and long-term undercover and open storage facilities are available for fabrication, de-commissioning and re-commissioning. Customers have access to on-site craneage, office and staff facilities, subsea fabrication specialists, skilled specialist labour and logistics support.
